Game opens, but loading screen freezes and i get stucked here.

Description of Issue - Game opens, then the loading screen freezes and nothing else happens, the only way to close the game is to kill the app.
Rough Date and Time of issue - On the opening window of the Server Slam, Feb 26th around 10:20 AM PT.
Repro steps - Just downloaded the server slam on Steam and opening it, i have my theories about the folders having issues with me having installed the closed alpha too, but after some testings i can't tell.

    I had exactly the same problem. I spent about 7 hours trying to fix it. I got past it by lowering the screen refresh rate to 60Hz and turning down the resolution. Then I set everything back to normal, and it hasn’t frozen since. so confusing
