Game freezes on launch after update (again)

I am having another issue with the game freezing almost immediately on launch on steam. It was fixed by disabling my overlays after the last update. My overlays are still of so that is not the issu...

It seems like turning off the overlays allowed me to launch the game again! Thank you!
