According to the spec sheet on AMD's website, the Ryzen 7 1700 does not support AVX2. Listed under "Key Features" at the bottom is only AVX. https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/pr...

Has there been any word from anyone aside from rumours on this? Like, an actual source? Also, wouldn't it be Marathon that requires AVX2 and not BattlEye? Because BattlEye does start without issue ...

I tried it again and looked at the event viewer. It's also spitting out "bad_module_info" with a placeholder error code.

There's quite a few posts reporting the same issue. Posting system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, possibly motherboard) and operating system could be helpful.

Getting the same issue. BattlEye pops up, Game process launches, CPU usage goes up, back down, then the process disappears and Steam tells me the game is not running anymore. I tried re-installing ...
