Turning off my LG mornitor “OnScreen Control app” did the trick. The double input and menu lag is no longer present. Thank you Yodzy!!! Now why would this cause so much issue ?

I just tested the game with ps5 controller and the lag disappeared. When I play with the controller lag is not present but when I switch to my Mouse and keyboard lag returns
