Crew fill turned off by default
Ive never played solo ranked, absolutely no reason that on boot my crew fill is turned off in a ranked mode. Lord_Meliodafu#6807
I would greatly appreciate if the items lost could be restored or at the very least some form of reimbursement

Thanks for the report.
If Crew Fill is turning itself off in Ranked on boot, that does not sound like intended behavior. Crew Fill is supposed to default to on for open crew slots, and matchmaking is supposed to respect the Crew Fill setting selected in the lobby.
This also sounds similar to other Crew Fill and mode-selection issues that have caused the UI state to desync from the actual matchmaking state, including around Ranked selections.
I can’t verify reimbursement here, but the Crew Fill behavior you described sounds worth investigating. Thanks for calling it out.
We’re not able to restore items or progress lost due to disconnects, lag, or other connection issues. In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.
In the event that an error occurs with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, connection recovery may not be possible. We will attempt to ensure that any players affected by a server error will have their starting gear returned to them.
Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
