Bug Keeping Item Descriptions from Being Displayed.
I've noticed in the past 3 days, on playstation, that there appears to be a bug that is keeping certain item descriptions pop-ups from popping up when you however over an item. This occurs seemingly at random and only on specific items. However, once an item is affected with this bug the bug seems to persist for that item at least until the game is rebooted or your instance is reset. I've noticed this most often on weapon mods, though all items seem to be able to be affected. Additionally, sometimes the pop-up will appear but only for a couple frames before it disappears, so it's not just that the pop-up isn't being called on.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the tooltips on some items. If possible, can you clarify if you have Deluxe Mini Jammer or a Cold Vigilance Scope equipped when this occurs? If so, does removing these resolve the issue?
I've had a similar issue during a Dire Marsh game.
- I had an CE Sidearm with an Oracle Lens equipped.
- I opened a weapons locker or tool cart and that container also had an Oracle Lens.
- As soon as I hovered over the Oracle Lens in the container (not the equipped one) the tooltip would only be displayed for 1-2 frames.
No further testing I'm afraid, because got murdered shortly thereafter by your friendly neighbourhood UESC Grenadier...
@Bungie Support, I do not have those mods specifically on at all. I've had this bug occur when I don't have anything equipped and am simply looking through my vault. Though I've also seen it happen within runs.
I'm on Steam and this has also been happening to me. I don't know what triggers it because it seems to happen at random and I've only noticed it with weapon mods and attachments. It doesn't seem to matter what item or rarity it is, and once it happens it happens to all mods and attachments until the end of the run. It occasionally happens in the vault and loadout screens as well.
