CARRI Weapon not refreshing

Sorry - not sure whether to put this under "in game mechanics and activities" or "weapons/equipment/consumables"

I bought out all of the ARES railguns in the CARRI event yesterday, and when the game refreshed the shop loot I did not get a new weapon provided (to which I've been told by my friends that today is an outland)

If this is supposed to happen, it was not made very clear at all. I was under the impression that weapons would refresh every day. Instead of spending 25 rep to get 5 ares to sell, I would have saved the slots for better weapons like the misriah (assuming we'll see that at some point)

If this is not intended, then hopefully this brings awareness.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    I’d like to check whether you might be running into a known issue where the weapon doesn’t appear correctly.

    When you have a moment, could you please share the following information:

    • On the C.A.R.R.I. screen, in the “CARRI Special Offers” section, do you see any weapon tile to the left of the backpacks, or is that slot completely empty?
    • If you’re playing with friends, can they confirm whether they see a weapon there today (for example, Outland or a different CARRI weapon) while you see nothing?
    • Do you already own that weapon’s schema or any kind of voucher for that weapon in your inventory or Collections?
    • Have you ever bought this weapon from C.A.R.R.I. before on this account?
    • A screenshot of your full C.A.R.R.I. screen, showing:
      • The CARRI Special Offers section (including the spot where the weapon should appear),
      • Your reputation and currency amounts,
      • Your Bungie name somewhere in the UI, if possible.
    • Your Platform (Steam / PlayStation / Xbox), and region.
    • The approximate date and time (with timezone) when you last checked the C.A.R.R.I. shop.

    Thanks for replying! Sorry it took me so long to follow up: 

    I'm waiting for friends to check info for today, but I can answer the questions for yesterday:

    • There was no weapon tile at all to the left of the backpacks
    • My friends confirmed they had the option to purchase an outland
    • I DO own an outland schema that I can purchase from (did not know if this was something that could get in the way)
    • I had NOT bought an outland before from CARRI, but I HAVE bought the Ares before

    Info for today yet to come, but attached are screenshots from today. I do not know what today's weapon is so I can't answer questions 2 and 3 currently.

    (I'm having trouble attaching screenshots right now, I will try to attach them in the next comment)

    Region:North America
    Last checking CARRI shop was just before sending this (4/21/2026 8:03 PM Central Time UTC-6)

    Just heard back from a friend. In today's CARRI shop is the Demolition HMG

    • I have not purchased this weapon from the CARRI shop before
    • I do not have a schema for this weapon

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much for all the details and for checking with your friends for comparison.

    C.A.R.R.I. weapons are intended to rotate on a shared schedule for all players, with a weapon tile to the left of the backpacks each day. Owning a weapon’s schema (like Outland) should not make that daily C.A.R.R.I. weapon offer disappear.

    What you’re seeing, matches a known issue where the C.A.R.R.I. weapon can be suppressed for players who already own that weapon’s schema. It’s not working as intended, and the team is working on a fix for a future update.

    Thanks! My apologies for not seeing it in the known issue list, just for clarity I did NOT see the demolition either (still in rotation today for the next ~98mins), and I DO NOT and NEVER HAVE HAD have a demolition schema.

    Does it get suppressed for all going forward if you own one previous schema? Or is this a separate issue?

    Hi there,

    You're welcome and there is no need to apologize.

    The issue isn’t on the public Known Issues list, but internally we’re tracking a bug where the daily C.A.R.R.I. weapon in the CyberAcme Armory may not appear for some players, even when it’s visible to their friends on the same day. This can affect any C.A.R.R.I. weapon tile, not just ones you have a schema for, so the fact that you didn’t see Demolition even though you’ve never owned its schema still lines up with the same underlying bug rather than an intended rule.

    The team is actively working on a fix so that the C.A.R.R.I. weapon offer appears consistently for all players, and once that’s ready you should see the daily weapon slot behave normally again.
