Timeline on WEASEL Error Code Fix
Is there any timeline or update on the fix regarding error code WEASEL? It's been over a week there's been no official update? What gives? And not to mention, this was fixed IMMEDITATELY during the Server Slam.. what's the hold up now???

Really want to like this game but in order to do that, I have to be able to play it. Unfortunately, cannot do that due to Bungie taking their sweet ass time to fix a networking issue several hundreds/thousands of players are reporting to have.. For reference, I load up my game and can get past the title screen where I can establish a connection to their servers just fine. Upon loading into the game, I am then able to browse the entire home screen (set up my runner/loadout, buy stuff from the shop, view the codex, etc.) for about 1-2 minutes until I am disconnected via error code WEASEL. Please note that this issue was also apparent during their free-to-play session (Server Slam), however, it was fixed within 36 hours of the Server Slam being available to play. The fix implemented during the Server Slam was never implemented into the final/official build of the full game when it released on March 5th, 2026.
I have been extensively troubleshooting my game for over a week as of the writing of this review and still have yet to find a suitable fix that isn't switching ISPs or wiping my OS. Wiping your OS to make 1 game possibly work is NOT a fix.. There are over 2300+ instances of just the word "weasel" in their Discord server and no official word or update on the fix since March 5th, 2026 at around 5:30 PM PST. Their support team is about as useful as a paper mache bomb shelter with their cherry picking of threads they want to "respond to." Any I quoted the phrase "respond to" because the don't thoroughly read your post. They just glance at the title, and paste one of their many PR-trained copy-pastas as a "response," and will never acknowledge the thread again. Despite the fact I have been given "responses" on some of my many threads, there has no 0 official word or update on a timeline or just ANY information at all to let players know what is happening..
Before anyone ignorantly wants to comment "oh I can play the game just fine, so it's just you" or "weasel errors indicate network issues on your end, try port forwarding or fixing your wifi," please take a moment to educate yourself with some of my own troubleshooting threads that thoroughly explain every measure I have taken in order to fix the game. If that's not enough, visit the official Marathon Discord server, do a Ctrl + F, and type "weasel." You'll see over 2300+ instances where "weasel" is apparent. While a small handful of those 2300+ instances are just players insulting others, about over 95% of those instances pertain to the actual error code many people, including myself, are facing.

If I didn't buy this game via a 3rd party website to save a couple of bucks, I would've already refunded it and forgotten about it and moved on. Since I have no official way to refund it, I am essentially stuck with a $40 game that doesn't work properly, and the devs/support team have no motivation and/or intention to fix it anytime soon.
only fix that ik of rn is upgrading to windows 11 which u should never have to do and its unfortunate but its the only fix as of rn
only other fix ik of that people say works is seeing if ur windows 10 has a update which u can find in ur settings
