redacted name change not able to be reversed
Name is labeled as redacted in Marathon, but not Destiny, even with accounts linked. I am unable to change my name on my profile settings, and have had the same name on Destiny since D1 launch, and would like to have my Display name be constant

Right now, names showing as “Redacted” in Marathon are the result of our automated name safety filters, and not something players (or forum support) can manually override on a per‑game basis. In addition, Bungie Name changes are limited, so if the change option in your Bungie.net profile is greyed out, that usually means the available name‑change token has already been used.
A few things to double‑check:
On Bungie.net, make sure the Bungie Name on your profile is exactly what you expect (and doesn’t hit any of the naming rules like profanity, impersonation, etc.).
Confirm you’re viewing the same Bungie account in both Destiny and Marathon (same email / platform links).
If your Bungie Name looks correct on the site and in Destiny, but still appears as Redacted only in Marathon, that’s something we’re tracking and continuing to tune on our side.
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I tried to change my name back to my original name I'd had, and even after hitting save, it will not allow me to. Is there a way to get another name change token? I just want my original display name back lol
I am having the same issue. I click save changes when I go to change my name. It begins to load, but stops loading immediately and nothing changes in the screen
