cant change bungie name from redacted...
i have never changed my bungie name and it says i can only change it once when i try to change it ... i do not want to be redacted

Hi there,
Bungie Names are shared across Marathon, Destiny 2, and Bungie.net, so what you’re seeing as Redacted#### is the same Bungie Name everywhere. That “Redacted” name means your previous name hit our name filters (or the recent Marathon filters bug) and was automatically reset; that original name can’t be reused.
Right now the correct way to get it reviewed is:
Go to the Bungie Safety appeal form:
https://safety.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/42349301189524-Contact-Form-Appeal-Ban-or-Restriction
For the reason, choose “Bungie Name was changed” / Bungie Name.
Include:
Your current Redacted#### Bungie Name
The previous name you were using / trying to use
Roughly when it changed (for many players this happened after starting Marathon / Server Slam).
Please submit only one request; it’ll go to the team that handles Bungie Names for both Marathon and Destiny, and they’ll review it and respond if anything can be changed.
